POVERTY RELIEF

Since 2002 Over 2000 women and their families benefited from this program in Pakistan and Kashmir.

Since 2005 the Savayra Foundation UK has moved from traditional aid work to financial empowerment work, thus reducing its poverty relief program to ad-hoc family awards and Zakat & Fitrana payments during the month of Ramadan.

Despite poverty relief being a small part of Savayra Foundation UK work we still view this aspect of care as very important.

The families Savayra Foundation UK supports invariably have no one else to turn ton and financial support from Savayra Foundation UK is sometimes the only guarantee that these vulnerable women do not become the victim of abuse.
